Sorry if anyone went to Bullfishes just cause I said I was going! After a LONG day, I decided to crash here instead of going out to a place that's 40 minutes away, and then drinking, and driving back. I was also suffering Effexor withdrawal, which is not at all pretty, and wanted to get home and get my pills.
It's too bad, too, cause I was looking good if I do say so myself ^_^ Rob took a few pictures with the good camera, but I have to wait to get them developed. I took one pic with my sucky webcam:

Most people thought I was a butterfly, but a few got that I was a faerie. Hello! Glitter on the wings! Butterflies don't have glitter. I guess a wand would have helped. Oh well. One little kid came up, looked at me, and said, "Hey, when is this tooth going to come out?" I looked at him for a second, my mind going Processing.....processing....OH! Tooth Fairy! and gave him a teasing answer.
Not a lot of kids this year, maybe 75-100 if that. We used to get around 200. Oh well, more mini Twix for me!
My P-sychiatrist started me on a new med with the Effexor, called Topamax. It's a mood stabilizer (to help stop the manic episodes) and as a side benefit should help me lose weight. However, since I have a strong reaction to most side effects, it's a wait-and-see thing right now.
Merry Samhain! The veil between worlds is at it's thinnest. Even if you're not pagan, perhaps just take a moment to reflect on your ancestors, on family members who have passed. This year I would like to remember and send love to my 2 aunts and 2 uncles who passed over the last two years. I love you very much Aunt Evie, Uncle Harry, Aunt Shulie, and Uncle Archie.

Date: 2002-11-01 03:48 am (UTC)I lost weight with Topamax - it kills your appetite, but not in a bad way - you don't miss it. Warning - there MAY be some initial side effects -you might feel a little blurry or confused, and have a hard time choosing your words sometimes, but that left for me after a couple of days. Give it a try - it worked well for me.

Let me know how the Topamax works. I just quit Zoloft cold-turkey (I know, BAD LISA!) because it made me feel so lousy.
Happy belated Samhain :)
