marcelle42 mentioned the Eddie Izzard "covered in beeeeees!!" bit yesterday, and that got me itching to watch other bits from Glorious. I think this one is my favorite ^_~

Oct. 24th, 2006 08:31 pmI'm sitting in my Regional Studies class. La.
I got a 93% on my test in here and a 98% on my paper. Also got a "very well written." Seeing as this is primarily a writing class, I'm pretty pleased with that.
We had a quiz on South American countries and landmarks, and one of the things to know was the Falkland Islands. A guy in my class asked the teacher if we needed to know the British name or the Argentinian name for the islands. He asked her if she'd ever seen Eddie Izzard.
I piped up, "I have." I started to quote the line, and he finished it with me. Awesome. ^_^
"Oh, we need the Falkland Islands for strategic sheep purposes."
