I hate it when you wake up with a song you can't stand playing in your head. I hate Blink-182, and I never listen to them, yet "What's My Age Again" has been playing in my head ever since I got up. *bangs head on desk* Ahh, there we go.

Still sick, blah, but going back to school tomorrow. This is my last week to pass my 80wpm test if I want to make Dean's List this quarter. I don't HAVE to pass the 80wpm test to pass the class, but it's 20 additional points added to your grade that I really need, so I must pass it. I'm CLOSE, just not close enough. 5 people in my class (out of 20) have passed it already. I don't like not being the best *pouts* But I don't like having to actually work at something either. Getting to 60wpm was easy, I didn't have to work at it. Now I actually have to practice every day.

Y'know, I really WASN'T at all sad or depressed about being single on Valentine's Day until the media started telling me I should be. All these commercials are out now saying "Wow, you're alone on Valentine's Day, THAT JUST SUCKS. YOU MUST BE SO SAD. WALLOW IN YOUR MISERY. GO ON, WALLOW!!!" I've been pretty good at resisting, I'm still not really broken up about being alone, but I can't help but wish I had someone to cuddle, or send me flowers. Although my mom did give me chocolates and a card, as she does every year.

Yes, well, commercials are evil. That's pretty much a fact of life. That's why I don't watch much tele anymore. Unfortunately, I get similar words from other fronts, being that all but one or two of my friends are happily conjoined, and have felt like telling me all about their Valentine's Day plans, which I honestly couldn't care less about, and which depresses me.

I can't even bear to have a "Love Sucks" party at this point, simply because the whole purpose of the party is remembering why one is having the party.

valentines is a kinda stupid overcommercialized holiday..and to make myself feel better, I always go and give as many ppl as I can valentines..and some candy..the feeling of 'doing good' overrides the feelings of 'damn im alone'..it helps ^___^ PLUS i can eat the leftover chocolates I DONT give out XD (is continuing this tradition this year, despite having a d00d to send valentines to)


Oh yeah! There is something kinda ironic/funny having to do with valentines..like maybe a "Valentines Disease' which involves alot of seizures....which is kinda funny b/c the name valentines being associated with the holiday..mehehhe.. I'll stop babbling now.=)

*ROFL* You know Yuff, that is probably THE best way of describing Valentine's day. Seriously, ain't that THE most pathetic thing in the universe? What a joke holiday.. honestly. But seriously, no need to be sad about it at all, especially if you're bein' told you should be sad by some faceless corporation, hell bent on just making another buck or two. :P
