Jan. 17th, 2003 10:19 pmWhee, I'm currently in Dayton, petsitting for Lara, land of the close-and-cheap-and-oh-so-delicious Tiramisu
The Friday Five
1. Where do you currently work?
Donato's, a pizza place, I think it's only in Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana. I'm a driver. I make good money with tips, I can usually make between $10 and $13 an hour. I only work 3 nights a week because of school.
2. How many other jobs have you had and where?
Oh dear, TOO many. My first job was in high school, I was an "intern" at South-Western Publishing. That's what they called me. I was basically a sub-secretary or a gopher.
When I was at IU, I worked at Wendy's...that was thrilling.
Since moving back to Cincinnati in 1997, I've worked at a Consumer Research Company (cold calling people to ask them questions), Avon Products (taking calls from pissed off Avon Reps), Perkins (I was a waitress for a month. I brought a guy a fish sandwich instead of a Frisco melt. I knew it was not the job for me), OfficeTeam (temp agency), CBS (temp agency), Adecco (temp agency), Paragon Health Services (entering medical insurance claims into a computer all day long), Domino's (was a driver for a week, Eric made me quit), Procter & Gamble (my longest employment, I was brand administrator in marketing for Pepto-Bismol and Metamucil. Go to www.pepto-bismol.com - I designed it ^_^), LaRosa's (delivery driver, would still be there if I wasn't moving). WHEW! I think I covered everything. Oh yes, plus my homebased businesses, Colesce, Pampered Chef, Avon, and Tastefully Simple.
3. What do you like best about your job?
$10 tips, compliments from my boss, friendly coworkers, staying busy, free pop, cheap food, good money, don't have to do any sidework or closing work, get to sit on my ass and listen to my music.
4. What do you like least about your job?
When people stiff me, grrr. ALWAYS TIP YOUR DRIVER AT LEAST TWO DOLLARS!!
5. What is your dream job?
Acting or singing
