I saw! Jill Sobule!!! Melissa Ferrick!! Toshi with her mom (who is amazing)!!! Alana Davis and Garrison Starr (ok, they're both a little obscure, but I like them both a lot)!
And, I more or less got an ok from work today to go. No specifics about my summer situation/hours/money, just that it will probably be ok if I'm out of town for a portion of August. Perfect :)
Did you notice that Elvira Kurt is performing on Sunday? It's making me reconsider leaving on Sunday, and think about leaving on Monday instead.... hmmm.....
i am actually super disapointed. melissa ferrick tho.. mmm. and jill sobule, shes cute and all, but she was so two years ago.
i guess nothing could top last year tho. maybe i just need to become better acquainted with the gals performing. am i missing something, or is it all folk stuff and no punk grrrl bands?
I'm not disappointed, but I don't really know any of the groups besides Bitch and Jill Sobule. Still, I'm looking forward to getting know all these new-to-me artists.
