I'm back.



I wanted to come back online on the anniversary of my moving to Springfield.  Well, one year anniversaries are tricky ;-p  Technically the date was March 26.  However, it was a Friday.  Well, since I'll be busy all day Saturday, I decided today was close enough.

From my entry last year: "I'm moving TOMORROW, and it still hasn't hit me that as of this weekend, I'll be living in Springfield."

It's been a CRAZY year.

Springfield is currently more of a home than Cincinnati is...but it's still not the "right" place.  It doesn't feel like a forever place.  When I first moved here I was going back to Cincinnati every weekend.  Now I go a month or longer without going home.  I haven't been to my parent's house since early February.



I got LOTS to say after keeping my mouth shut for two weeks. ;-p  All of you who were missing my online presence will soon be looking at your watches and saying, "Gee, Penny, isn't it time for another break?"

Fellow Ohioan here, just saying hello, and sympathising with you as far as "trying to find home". I still haven't found it. Maybe Kent will be more home for me than Perry (the shithole I grew up in), but I know it's not right yet. Le-sigh.

Yay, I'm so glad you're back! I've really missed you. And I knew I could call you, but I never really had anything specific to say -- just missed your presence and reading your posts!

Ya know, Dayton is a nice place and in between Springfield and Cinci. I'm just sayin. ;) Did you check out Wright State, btw?
