This was a Wombat Question of the Day, started by
queensheba (Dani):
I am grateful for:
1. My kitties...they are my babies
2. My parents helping me through this tough financial
time
3. My friends, including the Wombats!!
4. My CD burner ;-)
5. That I'm getting over my ex
6. Sleeping pills
7. My full time no stress no responsibility job with
benefits
8. My physical therapists for helping me strengthen
and heal my ankles
9. My mental therapist for not dumping me for
cancelling appointments ^^;;
10. Great books, and the ability to read
Oh yeah, one more thing, after using Lara's 14.4 connection while petsitting, I am grateful for DSL!!
My sister goes back to school next Friday...I'm gonna miss her :-(
And do NOT laugh at me
crazyladynocats (Cyd)!! But after reading so many Dykes to Watch Out For books, I volunteered to help out with Stonewall Cincinnati. They assigned me to the outreach committee. Should be fun.
Cyd also introduced me to a delectable organic-gourmet-upscale market in Dayton called Dorothy Lane Market. They had many yummy things there, but two stopped me in my tracks. First, slices of tiramisu for $3. It's Olive Garden sized and quality, but slightly cheaper (Olive Garden's is like $3.50). It was SO delicious, I had to buy another piece on my way out of town. And the other thing is BOXES OF BERRY BERRY KIX!!! I nearly died. Berry Berry Kix is discontinued, you can't find it anywhere. But they had tons of boxes! And they expire March '03, so they were DELICIOUS. I bought 2 boxes. My mom works in Dayton, I must make her buy me more. Happy day, tiramisu and Berry Berry Kix ^_^
Today's Thing You Never Knew About Me That You Probably Didn't Care About Anyway: I have about 15-20 different Pikachu toys/items, including the talking calculator. He's just so darned CUTE!
Today's Fond Memory: I was completely addicted to a MUD called Highlands. My senior year I had 2 free periods in a row, so I went home and played. We're talking ADDICT. Then the mod pissed me off, and I haven't been back in years. Sigh. Good times. I can't listen to the first Garbage album without thinking of it, since I listened to that album on repeat while playing for a year.
Today's Pet Peeve: Speed traps...grrrr...no, didn't get pulled over, but was forced to drive 25mph!!!
