HOME!! I am HOME!! Back in my apartment!! I am so glad. Even if it's only for one night ^^;; I'm petsitting for Lara in Dayton tomorrow thru Thursday.. Cyd, we should get together for lunch or dinner sometime this week ^_^

I went to my friends Shannon and Dave's wedding shower this evening. It was really great to see my SF friends again. But, it did make me feel very lonely. Everyone there was part of a couple. There was even a lesbian couple there, friends of Shannon's. They're both teachers, and since I'm planning to major in education, we had a nice chat. But it made me feel very lonely, and very longing for a person of my own to snuggle with. And Susan, I don't want to hear it ;-p

I've decided to start a new "feature" of my journal. I'll try to add a "Today's Thing You Never Knew About Me That You Probably Didn't Care About Anyway" (which is blantantly stolen from Greg Dean, my favorite web comic author. I'll also have "Today's Fond Memory" and "Today's Pet Peeve".

I do this for you. Because I care.

Today's Thing You Never Knew About Me That You Probably Didn't Care About Anyway: I'm terrified of lightening striking my house and causing a fire. Because that happened to my school in third grade.

Today's Fond Memory: First joining TSO and meeting my SF friends ^_^

Today's Pet Peeve: People on WinMX who take an icky rap song and title it "Vanessa Carlton - Paint it Black"

Not that I have anything against boybands, but when I was downloading DDR music, it was disguised too N Sync tunes. It's annoying...

home: good.

lightening: bad. i remember that. the school burned to the ground. did you see the library after the fire? i have pix somewhere. piles and piles of burnt pages littering the ground. you know, i don't think it was really lightening anyway, so i wouldn't worry about that if i were you...

in the spirit of LJ, i'm probably going to steal this lil tradition of 3 things and put it in my journal too. imitation is the highest form of flattery, you know. mrow.
