It has been so interesting to watch how far this meme is travelling, since [livejournal.com profile] elynne just created it last night ;-p

Interest meme, stolen from [livejournal.com profile] elynne

Go browse through my list of interests and ask me about one that 1) you know nothing about but sounds intriguing or 2) you know something about but can't fathom why I would be interested in it. Or ask me about an LJ community I read.

I'm curious to know what y'all are curious about. :)

Dykes to Watch Out For. It's a hilarious, intelligent, creative, and wonderful comic by Alison Bechdel. Even my dad loves it!

Ooohhh, they are a wonderful French band. I was actually just getting obsessed with them again ^_^ I discovered them around 97, at Lilith Fair, because they're on the same label as Sarah McLachlan. I think Immobile is their best album.

But I'm a Cheerleader ^_^

One of my favorite movies of all time, it's about a cheerleader who's told by her parents and friends that she's a lesbian, and is set to a rehab camp called True Directions to turn her straight. One of the counselors is played by RuPaul (as a man). It's super cute and really funny and romantic. I've seen it more times than I can count, and I'm always willing to watch it again.

What's the difference between "theater" and "theatre"?

American spelling and British spelling ^_^ I just use the British spelling for some odd reason.

=O.O= I most emphatically did not create this meme! I saw it in several other people's journals before posting it in mine! Um... sorry, I just... this is the kind of thing that I can easily imagine blowing way out of proportion... "Oh, that [livejournal.com profile] elynne, taking credit for coming up with an idea just to make herself more popular..." Which is not very likely, actually, except that there is exactly one person on LJ who I know for sure would take it like that and then bitch about it in her friends-only journal, and so why the hell am I worried about her anyway? Um. Sorry, I'm venting my spleen all over you, here. Sorry. :] *is shy now*

Um, actual things to ask about... documentaries: all of them, or do you have particular favorites?

LOL! Ok, well then you were a bad meme girl and did not say "Stolen from so and so" when you posted it!! ;-p Here I was, thinking you were so creative ^_~ j/k

I like the kind of "pseudo" documentaries like Gay Weddings and Gay Riviera on Bravo, I like Mysteries of Stonehenge so much I bought it, I like the True Life series on MTV. So, fluffy documentaries ;-p

fluffy documentaries! *rolls eyes* ;)

I didn't say who I'd gotten it from, because I'd seen like six people on my friends list do it in the last couple of hours, so it seemed to be a spontaneous meme thing. Yay unattributed memes! ;D
