1. A movie.
"Chasing Amy." I don't know if you've seen it or not, but it's wonderful. :-)

2. A book.
"Sister of My Heart," and anything else written by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. She writes about Indian/Hindu women in India and the US. Her books are wonderful. :-)

3. A musical artist, song, or album.
I think you'd really like Transiberian Orchestra. :-)
4. An LJ user not on my friends list.
My friend [livejournal.com profile] julianhill is a riot, but he doesn't post often. :-)

There's no way I'll be able to pick just one for each catagory, so deal with it. ;)

1.Pi, A Clockwork Orange, Orgazmo and Cannibal! The Musical.

2. Dante's Divine Comedy, Tannith Lee's The Secret Books of Paradys series, George R. R. Martin's Song of Fire and Ice series, and Tad William's Tailchaser's Song.

3. Tool's Aenima, Type O Negative's October Rust, The Who's Who's Next, Wumpscut's Eevil Young Flesh, and KMFDM's Nihil. And one you'll probably never find anywhere, an Athens native, Sxip's All Babies Must Cry.

4. Warren Ellis's LJ, mistersleepless. He's a great storyteller, he's been posting short, short stories up. Very beautiful stuff...

I think I didn't like Cannibal just because Eric was obsessed with it. But thanks for the other recommendations ^_^

Don't let that poophead determine your liking for that film! It's a cinematic genius!

1. Velvet Goldmine- I'm seriously jonesing over this movie at the moment.

2. The Tuesday Next series by Jasper Fforde. Very silly British humor.

3. Anything by Sheryl Crow. The Globe Sessions are my favorite, though.

4. You should know [livejournal.com profile] g33kgrrl. She's completely awesome. (Also, she's a friend of Angie's- I met her through Angie's LJ.)

1. A movie. I have four for you, that top my all-time favourites list. They are:
"The Legend of Billie Jean"
"Where The Day Takes You"
"If Lucy Fell"
"The Truth About Cats & Dogs"

2. A book. I haven't finished reading it yet, but when I do have time to read, I'm not able to put it down for a while. The book is called "Fat Girls and Lawn Chairs," and it's by Cheryl Peck. I think it's a book you'd really like.

3. A musical artist. I would recommend the group K's Choice for a group, and as for an artist, I would recommend Amanda Kravat, the former lead singer of Marry Me Jane. I would recommend any of the albums by Marry Me Jane as well.

4. As for an LJ user not your friend's list, I would recommend three people I enjoy reading, and they are:
sisterofnight
healthy30
kendokamel

I'm oddly fascinated by how many icons you have pairing the song "Blackbird" to that one Buffy episode. OK, so so far I know it's two, but still, it's an interesting connection...

I only took those two, but my friend [livejournal.com profile] pixeechu made a whole icon song set to that song/ep at her icon journal [livejournal.com profile] pchuu_icons if you want to see them all ^_^

1. Adaptation -- if you haven't seen it yet, it helps if you have any knowledge or understanding of moviemaking, screenplay writing, elements of storytelling or, in the absence of all of those, are just really really sharp :)
2. Life of Pi
3. oog... Ben Folds Five's Whatever and Ever, Amen
4. [livejournal.com profile] amused37, though most of her stuff's friends-only
