The Highway to Heaven claims another victim

A member of the Ohio Wombats (my grrl group) was killed in a car crash yesterday afternoon. I didn't know her very well, and I'd never met her, but it's still a painful shock. She was a great addition to the list, always positive. She'd tried to make it to a few events, but school, and her death, were in her way. She was 20 years old.

The stretch of road she was on when she was hit is known as the Highway to Heaven because of the number of fatal car crashes that occur on it. I remember when my mom worked in that library system, and she had to drive that stretch of road, we always worried for her.

Please, take a moment to send a good thought to her family. Then hug your own tightly.

April, she worked/attended Miami University. :-(

I never met her but remember reading her. That's so sad. She had her whole life in front of her. She was so upbeat. My thoughts are with her.
