Update on my mom:

She has a really bad sinus infection, and both of her ears are infected.

The Urgent Care doc was like, "Thank you for having something so straightforward!"

This is her second sinus infection in two months, because she was on Prednisone for a bad rash, and it lowered her immunity.

She's leaving for Florida TOMORROW. Is she at home resting? No, she's going to work, in the next town north, in Dayton. Crazy woman.

At least she doesn't have the flu, and she's not contagious.

Sinus infections are NOT fun. Maybe she's just working so that Florida will get her faster. Can't blame her for that!

I'm glad it's not the flu. That's bad news. I'm so afraid one of my kids in the nursery will get it. I'd hate it if anything happened to one of them. Even the really bratty ones.

Urgh- I know what Prednisone can do to immune systems- my mom's been on it before. ;-;

Ugh ugh ugh...... a few months ago I got a sinus infection that moved on into my left ear...which resulted in me taking codeine, which then made me so ill I could keep nothing down for three days, and I would vomit in about 5 minutes to half-hour intervals..... I think the codeine got me started, but it was my inner ear that was making me ill to my stomach. That was my worst-feeling week ever. ):
