pennywhistleSOOOOO tired.
It's been a long day.
Right after school I zipped up Vine Street to the Cincinnati Zoo. My best friend from high school, Julie, is in town with her boyfriend, and we decided to meet up at the Zoo. Met her at 12:15, and we went to the little restaurant to get lunch. I was able to be good, they had caesar salads. Horribly overpriced and wilted, but anyway....
We wandered around the Zoo for about 4 hours. The Cincinnati Zoo was built on the most hilly part of the city, so it's a HIKE. My feet were so sore after walking all over. We were like, "Do we want to see this exhibit?" "It's inside and air-conditioned. YES!" LOL. I love the cat house. They were so cute! Once we finished the Zoo, we parted ways, but I think we're getting together again on Sunday.
I came home and "rehearsed." Thursday's are karaoke nights! I learned a new song, that I performed tonight, Black Velvet by Alannah Miles. I went to karaoke at Yadda with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pixiepuff. She was looking very sexy with her new dress and body glitter. We had fun, I sang a lot. We're going back to Yadda for dancing on Saturday.
Sunday my family's all going to the TGI Friday's on the river in Covington to watch the WEBN Fireworks. The Fireworks are a BIG deal in Cincinnati, they happen every Labor Day weekend, they signal the end of the summer. They're very cool. One year my friends and I went down to the river, to Serpentine Wall at NOON, and sat there in the hot sun all day until 9pm when they started. But we had the best view ^_^ That's something you only want to do once in your life.
