Watching a Season 7 rerun on UPN. God, this season is so whiny it's bloody annoying. I just want to smack each potential. I wish they'd done a better job with Season 7 :-(

Gah, I completely agree. I was watching the end during dinner, when Buffy gave that whole speech about how, "It'll be tough, but in the end, we'll still be here.." ..and then I started looking through the girls and pointing out which ones died. ^_^*

the only whiny one that really bugged me was rhona. GODDDDDD shut UUUUPPPPP! And she didn't even get axed, did she? Anya got it and she didn't. there's no justice. And Amanda? She ROCKED. She could have even been the next slayer. I can't believe she died either.

But, the thing that got me most with this season were all those damn Buffy speeches. Yeah, love the Bufster, love the inspiration, but it just got so damn formula. Shit happens, the world is ending, we're all gonna die, there's no plan and no way to win, but wait Buffy is going to talk to us and it will all be better. rinse, lather, repeat. bleh.
