Oy, what a day.

Got up at 9:30 so I could watch Rabbit-Proof Fence before it had to go back at noon. It was a REALLY good movie, but very sad. The three actresses were so adorable, especially in the Making Of Documentary.

Then grocery shopping, a quick nap, then I went to [livejournal.com profile] queensheba's for a few hours to hang out with her animals and feed them while she and her husband are out of town.

Then work. Work sucked. We were DEAD from 6 till 11, most likely because of The Taste of Cincinnati going on downtown. Then at 11, when there was only me and one other driver, we were slammed. I was supposed to be off at 11:30, but I didn't end up leaving until 12:15. At least I made $70.

Tomorrow I'm going back over to Dani's to feed the aminals, then I'm going to Taste by myself. [livejournal.com profile] suraimu doesn't want to go this year, and no one else seems to want to go, but I do, darnit. It's the only time I ever get escargot. I'm not as afraid to do things by myself anymore, I've gone to concerts, to Nashville, all over. I can go to Taste by myself too. So there ;-p

(but if anyone else wants to go, call my cell ^_~)

You said it! I go for the calimari, myself! Sometimes I think it's better to go alone. I wish I could go with you, just for some company, but I'm still sick. I hope you have fun! Snarfle down some exotic goodies for me!

Where did you find Rabbit Proof Fence? I wanted to see it but it doesn't seem to be at any of my video stores.

come see

Wow, you spent a whole few hours with them? That's awesome - you didn't have to do that much!

I'm curious, though - did it seem to you that Georgia was not eating? She has a *lot* of food in her dish right now. She's quit eating when we've been gone before, so it wouldn't be too surprising.

Yeah, she just seemed so lonely, so I sat and watched tv and snuggled with her.

She didn't seem to be eating much, but I put half a cup in her bowl this morning anyway in case she suddenly got really hungry. There was still breakfast leftover when I got there yesterday, and I gave her a whole cup for dinner.

But she happily ate all the Beggin Strips I gave her ^_^

That figures! She's also been known to skip her regular food and hold out for treats:) When we go on vacation in August I'll leave you some more nutritious canned food (that she'll find hard to resist) to give her in conjunction with her dry food - that way she won't eat nothing else and hold out for treats:)

She gave you the big mopey look, huh? She's a master of that:) Thanks again for taking good care of all of them!
