Jun. 6th, 2002 06:18 pmI think I've got a nice routine going (if you can call two days a routine). I work at Media Bridges from 8am-1pm, come home and eat lunch, then from 2-4 I make calls for Lunch Times, then at 4 I send all the faxes I need. Once I get my sales kit and start getting my own restaurants, I'll visit restaurants from the 2-4 hour on Mondays and Tuesdays and make calls on Wednesdays-Fridays. I'll just keep that up until September, when the Media Bridges job ends, and by then I should have enough saved up to move to Indianapolis. Then I'll be doing Lunch Times full time out there!
I've been cleaning a lot this afternoon, because I'm going out of town this weekend, and I know it will be refreshing to come back to a clean apartment. My dad got his PhD and we're going to his graduation in Philadelphia. We're driving, which means 10 hours in a van with my parents, my sister, Rob, and my elderly grandmother. Yee haw. And then 10 hours back. But I'm VERY proud of my dad.
I had a nightmare last night that I had to fly, because my family was going to Paris. I was freaking in my dream, so it was stressful sleep. I am TERRIFIED of flying. I've flown several times, including to England and Paris, but I do NOT enjoy it. The last time I flew was for college visiting in 1995, and that was with the help of many drugs. Just THINKING about airports makes me nervous. So that was my dream, and I was very relieved to wake up and realize I didn't have to fly.
