You've never had a hickey before? Damn. I've been with people who don't even realize what they're doing and they end up leaving a huge-ass hickey somewhere on my personage. As long as it's not on my neck when I'm home from school I'm cool with 'em, though. But I tend not to leave them, either, so I guess you've been with considerate people. ;)

Hm, and about the worst books I've ever read.... I'd have to say a lot of the books I read in high school..... Tess of the D'urbervilles, The Bridge of San Louis Rey, Great Expectations, and The Good Earth. And Susan can back me up on this as well... we spent many an hour creatively bitching about them, and we probably were very entertaining to hear. (:

As for Catcher in the Rye...I didn't like it much but it wasn't horrible. And I kinda liked Beowulf and Once and Future King. At least the first part of the book rocked when Arthur was a kid and got turned into all those animals. (: After that the book got boring. But maybe this was because I read it in seventh grade for fun. (:

The school book that I loved that everyone else hated was Watership Down. I read it in 7th grade for fun (like you ;-)), and then we had to read it in 9th grade.

And then we did a play of it in 10th grade. I was an Efrafan rabbit and the Farmer's Wife. Woot.

Oh my god, that's one of my favorite books EVER. And you guys had to read it for school, let alone do a play about it? That's awesome. I read it for fun sometime in gradeschool. I love animal books. (:

Oh, god in heaven, Tess! Bridge of San Louis Ray! GREAT FUCKING EXPECTATIONS! THE HORRIBLE AND AWFUL GOOD EARTH! AUGH!

Tess of the Ghetto, remember? And Mrs. Schnier insisting that every word Dickens used was in the dictionary...except "erkevel" which we looked up and sure as fuck it wasn't there? ;) Bridge, Great Expectations, and Good Earth were all freshman year. Tess was senior. :)

Oh my god, yes. (: Now I remember talking about it, but I can't actually remember what was said. Something about Tess being a crack whore or something? (: And yes, I remember you going off about "erkevel" as well. I actually wrote my final paper on Tess saying how it was a horrid book and I actually got a good grade on it! Usually I think teachers get pissed if you do that, but in some points she agreed with me.

But intersperced with the bad books, we also read some good books in her class(es): Ferinheight 451, 1984, The Crucible (I think), On the Beach, Frankenstein, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.

Crucible was Cable.

The others were Schneir, but, we didn't all read the same books- On the Beach you and I elected to read together, but I didn't read Frankenstein and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn....wait...A Tree Grows in Brooklyn was in my haze of codeine dependency in freshman year and I was SUPPOSED to read it. That's right..:)
