pennywhistleIt is VERY VERY foggy outside. As in, almost 0 visibility. Fuuuuun.
I work as a pizza delivery driver, and most of the time I enjoy it because I get paid to sit on my ass and listen to my music, and I usually don't have to do any sidework.
But there are those people who will piss me off...GRRRR
First of all, if you don't have enough money for SOME sort of tip, then you don't have enough money to order a pizza. Period. I hate the woman who says "Sorry I don't have any extra money for a tip for you!" Uh huh. You couldn't scrounge up a lousy DOLLAR? Then you can't afford a pizza, lady. Get off your ass and make a sandwich.
Then there's the woman I delivered to today, rich, swanky neighborhood, huge house, her kids birthday party, 4 pizzas, 2 salads. A huge order, a lot to carry, it came to $37.25. She gave me a $50 and told me to give her $12 back. WHAT THE #%#%?! Gee, thanks for that whopping 75 cents.
And my store is VERY strict about coupons. So when I go to collect from someone who is using a coupon, I say "That will be [amount] with your coupon." That usually reminds people "Oh yeah! Hold on, I'll go get the coupon." But there are still some morons who don't get it, and I have to ask, "Do you happen to have the coupon you used?" And then they go off and get it. But the guy today just killed me. When I asked him for the coupon (because hinting wasn't enough) he said "Do you need it?" NOOOOO, of course not! Sir, let me teach you the difference between a coupon and a sale. Oy.
And then there are morons right in my store! The pizza makers, sigh. How do you FORGET to make a pizza? It's right there on the ticket in front of you!! So then I'm late out the door, and it's my tip that's affected. It happens WAY to often in this store, and it REALLY REALLY pisses me off. GRRRR....
