Jan. 16th, 2003 02:15 pmFinally decided to give up with Pampered Chef. I've been inactive since November. I just posted a huge For Sale list of all my sales tools and product to the loops, cleaning everything out. I still love the products and the company. But Tastefully Simple is SO much easier, and less work, and less stress, and less money.
Yesterday I delivered to TWO people I knew! I knew that driving in Hyde Park/Oakley/Mount Lookout/O'Bryonville area, I was bound to run into some P&G or Seven Hills people, since those are some of the richest neighborhoods in Cincinnati. Last night I delivered to Ali Fisher, a girl from my sisters class at Seven Hills. Of all the Seven Hills people to deliver to, she's prolly one of the best, she was never evil or snotty, always was pretty sweet. And then I delivered to Shannon Edwards sister Kelly! That was funny. The good thing about delivering to people that know you is you can't get stiffed.
I wasn't sure Ali would recognize me, and if she didn't, I wasn't going to tell her. But she recognized me as soon as she opened the door. I was wearing a hat, darnit! Must have been the fat and the pimples. Always a tip off. Next time, I'll wear dark glasses and speak in a low voice.
Me (low voice, dark glasses, scarf around my head): Here's your pizza
Person Who Knows Me: Oh my God, PENNY?!?
Me: DAMMIT!!
It's all snowy and I'm all sick :-(
