Meanwhile, here's today's ankle report:

Right ankle itself is healing as well as can be expected. However, the whole top of my foot hurts something awful whenever it is made to be vertical. So getting up and walking, and even sitting on a chair are painful tasks, unless my foot is propped. It's no longer a dark purple, but a lovely, sickly yellow-ish green all over. And still puffy and swollen. We're worried, because TOMORROW is when the doctor said I should be able to be driving and back to work, and that's just not possible. My next physical therapy is Tuesday, so we'll see what they say then. I'm HOPING to be able to go home Tuesday. I'm scheduled at LaRosa's to work Wed-Sunday. Not driving, just dispatching.

I haven't been to my apartment since the afternoon of July 31st. I miss my apartment!
