I doubt it's too old, bright colored dyes like these are made from vegetable dyes mainly, doubt it'd go badly. But I said other because I think your hair looks really pretty the color it is now, and for it to REALLY get purple you'd hafta bleach it first...which would be a waste cause your hair is such a pretty color. Just my thoughts.
