pennywhistleSo, I'm unemployed. Today was my last day of work. My boss was really sad to see me go. All week she asked "Do you REALLY have to go?" She told me I would always be welcome back at the company, and if I wanted to work for them on breaks I could. Then she gave me a hug. I thought that was very nice, since for the last two days I'd basically just read old TWP recaps online ;-p
My last paycheck should be decent, but I don't get it until next Friday, and until then I am very lean.
A week from today I move to Springfield.
Yeah, I've packed NOTHING ;-p
*sigh* I don't know if time is sneaking up on me, or if I've been avoiding how close it's been getting! Most of what I need to do is pack my clothes/do laundry. I've got a lot of dry clean only/hand wash only clothes on the floor that I've been ignoring ;-p Need to wash and pack them. Need to clean my desk off. Tomorrow I'll probably make a list. Tonight I'm too tired.
Monday is D-Day. I've been drinking water so much I'm sick of it. More water than I've ever consumed in a week period. But my urologist told me that if the fragments hadn't sufficiently moved by Monday, he'd haul me into surgery (as in invasive going IN surgery, with a stent) right then and there. So, I drink water. Lots and lots of water. And I don't sleep much.
If all goes well and I do NOT have surgery, I'm hoping to go to the Bitch and Animal concert on Monday night in Columbus. It's their farewell tour, they're breaking up after this, so I'd REALLY like to see them.

pixiepuff and ladyoceanstar. *happyhappyhappy* I've seen Alix three times, and every time I've been by myself. Michigan, Cincinnati, and Dayton, I was always alone. Now I'll be seeing her with my beautiful grrlfriend and one of my very good friends (and housemate!) It was hard to weigh Wombat event vs. Alix Olson, but....it's ALIX ^_~ Plus, I'm not wild about Trader's World unless I'm vending there. Though I'm tempted to make an appearance for Olive Garden ^_~
And finally, a week from Monday, on the 29th, I begin classes at Clark State. I want to say I'm excited or nervous, but at the moment I don't feel anything. I guess it still doesn't seem real. Ask me on the 28th.
I haven't TOUCHED my steno machine since the 2nd ;-p
