I went to my apartment complexes picnic today. It was nice, I made my famous double chocolate chip cookies, and they were scarfed down. I was feeling very shy though, which sucked. It was a "celebrating diversity" picnic, and they asked everyone to bring something from their culture. There is a Japanese family in the complex, and they brought sushi. It was YUM!! But I was too shy to go up and talk to them :-(

Then I went swimming, and did 10 laps, which is a lot for someone who never exercizes... I hung around by the pool and read, and just enjoyed being out with my neighbors.

I locked myself out of the car this afternoon :-\ With my groceries and house keys in the car...the ice cream, the butter, the milk, the eggs, the cheese... So I had to wait an hour on the steps for the Mazda people to come let me in. *sigh*

Now I'm on an mp3 downloading spree, since I need to make a lot of mix cd's for my road trip Wednesday!!

Later tonight I'm going out to dinner with my friend. She was just diagnosed with ovarian cancer a few months ago. She's not even 30 yet.
