Jan. 24th, 2004 11:29 amI think I'm going to this tonight, if any other women in the area want to go. Need a grrl fix, since I'm not getting one any other way this weekend ;-p
"This Saturday, Jan 24th at 7:00 at the Women's Resource Center (formerly Crazy Ladies), we are showing the video "Radical Harmonies" that was shown at the Esquire a while back. It's about the history of Women's music --- Someone from group has been nice enough to offer to share it with us. It runs about an hour and a half. Afterwards, we'll just have our regular little gathering. If you want to share any of your talents like we've done in the past, that would be great! I love to hear your wonderful voices--- whether it be singing, reading poetry, or doing a comic routine.
Bring whatever you want to drink and a snack to share. Hope to see you there!!"
If anyone needs directions, let me know. Also, if anyone wants to go and do dinner before hand, or Yadda afterward, let me know.
