1- Pick any one of your LJ interests and explain its significance to you.

Hmmm, but there's 150 of them!!! Let's see *lets mouse randomly scroll over one* Ahhh, Starlight Express, my favorite musical. Also the first musical I ever saw. My parents took my best friend and me to New York City for my 10th birthday and we saw it on Broadway. It's a cute, sweet, romantic, funny story, with great music, oh and it's all performed on roller skates. I've since seen it about 6-7 more times, including once in London and once in Chicago where it was done on ice.

2- Who was your best friend in childhood? Are you still in touch? Why or why not? If not, would you like to get to know them again? Why?

My best friend since I was born is Jenny. Our parents have known each other forever (quite literally, her dad and my mom dated when they were teens). She was born in February and I was born in October, so we were kinda "forced" to be playmates, especially since her mom babysat my sister and me until I was 14. We're all grown up now, but our family's are still best friends and they live 2 blocks from us, so I see her about once a week or so, and we go out for drinks. We don't have a lot in common, but we've got such a history, we'll always be friends.

3- What, according to you, is your best attribute? Your worst?

Physical attribute? Either my chest (quite well endowed) or my eyes (can go from bright blue to blue-grey). My worst: My face. Almost 25 and still have terrible acne ;_;

4- If you were to write an autobiography, what would the title be? Why?

Well, since "Wake Up, I'm Fat!" has already been taken, I'd say "The Girl You Never Got to Know"

5- If I were to ask your friends to list ten adjectives describing you, what would they be?

Quirky
Creative
Friendly
Fair
Messy
Punctual
Obsessive
Sweet
Pet-whisperer
Procrastinator

1. Sheep, or lemming?

Lemmings are cuter, I think

2. Do you know the truth about lemmings?

All I know is they jump to their deaths every now and then, right? *confused*

3. Why do birds suddenly appear, every time you are near?

To poop on my head!

4. Does anybody really know what time it is?

My friend [livejournal.com profile] ladyoceanstar has PCOS. She just started Atkins as recommended by her doctor, and has been doing great on it.

I just looked at PCOS.net for the symptoms, and the only ones I have really are obesity and acne. But I will definetly bring it up as a possibility when I see the dermatologist.

Heh; doctors here are still reluctant to even prescribe metformin; suggesting low carb would be like... like doing something new. ^^ (The idea of low carbing really upsets my partner, which is why I don't couple it and the met.)

PCOS is a persnickety beast, and some women only ever show one or two outward symptoms -- or none at all until they discover they're infertile. (Yeah, can I be the one who's thin and clear-skinned and regular as heck, but can't have babies, please? :P) A dermatologist would probably refer you back to a GP or onwards to a reproductive endocrinologist, so it might be worth just going in on the ground floor and asking your regular doctor right off the bat if it's a possibility. Get all the referrals out of the way in one go. :)
