So, here I am in Dayton...

I'm in Dayton now, and I'll be here all week, from Sunday to Sunday. I'm petsitting for Lara, and since this is Spring Break week, it worked out rather nicely. I'm looking at it as a vacation, getting away from the family and my room, going to another city. I'm trying to get out and explore Dayton some. Today I went to the thrift shop that claims to be the largest in Ohio. I tried on about 20 things, but only left with 3, a very nice brown shirt and brown flowery skirt, and a black velvet-y feel-me top. Then I went to Half Price Books and browsed, then went to Borders. They didn't have the Alison Bechdel book like I was hoping they would, but they did have the other book that I wanted and bought: So You Want To Be A Lesbian? Check out the sample pages on the Amazon link, it's a hysterical book, definetly worth the $13.

In 20 minutes Unwrapped comes on, and then at 10 Gay Riviera is on Bravo so I have a good TV night ahead of me.

Tomorrow I think I'll visit my mom at work and explore downtown Dayton. Wednesday I work. Thursday I might go to the gay bars around here, see if they're any good.

I should go out on my pop run now before Unwrapped comes on. Later! ^_^

I'm glad you got away. I think everyone needs to every now and then. It's how we keep our sanity. :)

Where is the thrift shop at? I love thrift shops and I''m always looking for new ones.

It's in Dayton, off 675 which is off 75, it's exit 2. You can see the sign from the highway, it says "Ohio's largest thrift store!" ^_~
