Mar. 24th, 2003 10:22 pmThere's a REALLY good documentary series on right now, about gays and lesbians in New York and Miami called The Gay Riviera. It's on Bravo. One of the lesbians featured reminds me of some of my friends because of her struggles in being mistaken for a straight girl too many times, and having to insist she's lesbian even if she doesn't "look" lesbian ^_~ Femmes Unite!! There's a second episode on at 10:30, so you can still catch that one if you're intereted. I really like watching good GBLT documentaries/movies/shows, because except for the 'Bats, I'm still not really in the Gay community here in Cincy. So I like to live vicariously through other people in my television.
I also sent an email to Bravo telling them how happy I was for them showing this program and also the show Gay Weddings, and that I would support their advertisers. I encourage you to do the same.
