Friday evening box_o_kittens and I went to see RENT at the Aranoff. OMG, <3. This was my third time seeing the show live, and my second time this year. I'd forgotten how powerful the words and the music were to me.

At the beginning of the year, for the first three months or so, I was listening to the soundtrack rather obsessively. You know, since the movie had just come out (which I saw three times in the theatre). Seeing RENT again at the end of the year with the woman I love was such a wonderful way to bring the year around to full closure.


Now I have the Hannukah lights burning, and as soon as they extinguish I am going to BED.
