After hearing about athanasios talk about his Launch Station, I decided to check it out and create my own.

Now I'm obessively rating songs ;-p

I've got the standards, like grrlfolkrock, They Might Be Giants, Evanescence, Linkin Park, all that of course.

But I'm really having fun watching it learn that I adore alternative music from 1994-1997. "Underground" by Ben Folds Five. "Creep" by Radiohead. "Popular" by Nada Surf. "Hell" by Squirrel Nut Zippers. "Lump" by PUSA. Gin Blossoms, Blind Melon, Green Day, Cake, Weezer, Oasis, Sneaker Pimps, Belly, Beck, Cranberries.... when I'm older and torturing my kids with "oldies" music, it's gonna be mainly from those years. Ahh, when music was good.

And winters_rose and sirendream, they have Enter the Haggis ^_^

Shayna and I actually went through the billboard charts and downloaded music, and determined that 94-97 had some really good music. So I agree ^^

boy, this is great, so much better than my other internet radio choice! Already I want to skip through all the songs it plays as soon as I rate them, not only to rate more but to see what it plays next! But then I have to remind myself "no, I like this song!"

*listen for a few seconds, then skip* More rating!! Woo hoo! Plus do a bunch of searches for artists and songs you like on the main page; you can rate them there too, while you're listening to the song that's playing ^_^
