My chances of making Dean's List this quarter are down to VERY VERY LITTLE to FAT CHANCE.

This is my last week to pass an 80wpm test before the end of the midterm. I need to pass it to get the bonus points to make Dean's List. Today ALL WE DID WAS TEST. We took 3 tests and I just couldn't concentrate, I couldn't get them. I couldn't wrap my brain around them. It didn't help that I hadn't practiced while I'd been sick.

My teacher says we'll get one or two more chances this week. And then that's it. If I pass it any time the rest of the quarter, that's lovely, but I won't make Dean's List.

I'm halfway through my homework now, then I'll take a short break, then I'll do a practice tape, then eat dinner, then go to bed.

Tomorrow is [livejournal.com profile] doyouhearmenow's concert, so I'll be out late for that. Anyone in Cincinnati, you should go to her concert, she's very good ^_^ It's at York St. Cafe in Newport, at 9:30. They have escargot there, mmmm.

I got so stressed during the tests I almost started to cry. I kept messing up right at the beginning. It's SO FRUSTRATING. Grrr. I need to put in more practice time!

I'm physically feeling much better today, still stuffy and coughing, but much less achy, much less groggy and tired. Sore throat is pretty much gone too.

I must now go punish my fingers for refusing to type 80 wpm on a steno keyboard. I can type up to 90wpm on a regular keyboard! They CAN move that fast! Get moving, you lazy buggers!!
Oh yes, I forgot to mention, I am presently physically restraining myself from going to Newport on the Levee to audition for Survivor 7. You see, Cincinnati is the largest viewing market for Survivor, it has been for all 5 seasons. And the executive producer, Mark Burnett, has promised us that he will include a Cincinnatian in the Survivor 7 cast. (There hasn't been someone from this area since Roger from Survivor 2, he lives 45 miles south in Kentucky) So our local news station is holding open auditions down at Newport from noon to 9pm. When I was driving in to school at 7am this morning there was already a line forming. Well, I KNOW I would never get accepted with my medical problems, and even if I were to be accepted, I know I would never last. But I just love that show so much! Anyone who knows me knows I am a huge Survivor fan, it is one of my guilty pleasures. When it first came out I thought it would be so stupid, but I started watching it because my coworkers were watching it, and I wanted to know what they were talking about the next morning, and I've just gotten HOOKED! So no, I'm not down there auditioning, but I do hope that someone from this area makes it!

Our local media is also trying to bring the finale episode to Kings Island, since we're the top viewing market, and surrounding cities (Columbus, Lousiville, Dayton, Indianapolis) are all in the top 20 viewing markets. THAT I would go to, a Survivor finale. THAT would be fun to watch!!
I'm working on putting together my stenography dictionary...I'm the A's...;-p

I have a question, is anyone REALLY good at Excel? I thought I was pretty darned good at Excel, but there's a sorting/column question I can't seem to figure out if I can make it do. If anyone thinks they can help me, please reply or email me ^_^

Thanks...
