Jill Jacobs, about 1/4 of the way down, under Ideas and Activism, is my dad's cousin's daughter. What does that make her to me? No idea.

I always thought my parents' cousins were my first cousins, once removed. Whatever... it's all much too complicated after first cousins. I once asked my grandfather how so-and-so was related to us, and he answed, "Well..... he's a kind of cousin." That's probably the best answer to all of this.

Anyway, I'm willing to concede to whatever ancestry.com thinks is correct.
