her_darcy and klutzywaitress asked for pictures of my kitties ^_^
( More photo requests under cut )
mermaiden asked for pictures of my bookshelves. I have four, and they're all somewhat organized ^_^
This first bookshelf is five shelves tall. The top shelf has my Harry Potter collection, my books about Japanese culture, and then a few random fiction/non-fiction tall books. Second shelf is my Jewish-Pagan shelf. Third shelf is the gay shelf (NOT the lesbian shelf, that's another bookcase), fourth shelf is textbooks, and fifth shelf is small fiction books, mostly paperback. ^_^
( More books! )
More requests coming! Feel free to make more requests as well.

( What I watch )
Penny, you are somewhat left-hemisphere dominant and show a preference for visual learning, although not extreme in either characteristic. You probably tend to do most things in moderation, but not always.
Your left-hemisphere dominance implies that your learning style is organized and structured, detail oriented and logical. Your visual preference, though, has you seeking stimulation and multiple data. Such an outlook can overwhelm structure and logic and create an almost continuous state of uncertainty and agitation. You may well suffer a feeling of continually trying to "catch up" with yourself.
Your tendency to be organized and logical and attend to details is reasonably well-established which should afford you success regardless of your chosen field of endeavor. You can "size up" situations and take in information rapidly. However, you must then subject that data to being classified and organized which causes you to "lose touch" with the immediacy of the problem.
Your logical and methodical nature hamper you in this regard though in the long run it may work to your advantage since you "learn from experience" and can go through the process more rapidly on subsequent occasions.
You remain predominantly functional in your orientation and practical. Abstraction and theory are secondary to application. In keeping with this, you focus on details until they manifest themselves in a unique pattern and only then work with the "larger whole."
With regards to your career choices, you have a mentality that would be good as a scientist, coach, athlete, design consultant, or an engineering technician. You can "see where you want to go" and even be able to "tell yourself," but find that you are "fighting yourself" at the darndest times.
I give you a meme.

An asterisk means the previous person had it on their list. Two asterisks means the last two people who did this before you had that band on their list.

Sure, you deserve one. You helped popularized lolcats from a running gag to an online sensation. Now mainstream media writes asinine columns on this 'phenomenon', students write theses on the topic, programming languages adopt the grammar, and losers write tests about them on dating sites. Now take your cheezburger and never touch the internets again.

ta2dmrm8 asked me to explain these three:
This icon was made by my friend sirendream and features a picture of me from the...hmmm...2003 Wombat Anniversary Party. Wow, that's crazy that this icon is nearly four years old ^_^ The line "I just want to be seen" is a line from a song by Jessica Weiser that I love. It's true. Sometimes I feel invisible and like I just blend into the background, but I just want to be seen.
This icon features a picture I took of Vienna Teng at a concert in Louisville in November 2003. suraimu made the base for me and I added the text. The lines are from Vienna's song "The Tower." The song is about someone she used to know who did everything she could for others and neglected herself. That's me most of the time; I usually put other people first.
I just acquired this icon a few months ago from obsessiveicons. It features the lyrics from a Regina Spektor song. I just really loved the line because I think there's a lot of magic in our lives that we take for granted.
